The film provides an insight into the Swedish punk subculture of the eighties, showing Sixten and his friends who reject the mainstream lifestyle, finding themselves instead in music, rebellion, and social protest. While the young musician is uncertain about his future, the story also captures the punk community's solidarity, anarchist ideals, and protest against Swedish arms exports. At the film's climax, Sixten is attacked by skinheads after a concert, providing a memorable conclusion to this period piece.
