"Punk's not dead. It's just sleeping. It'll wake up when it's really needed." - Jello Biafra -
A brutally honest documentary chronicling four decades of NOFX’s career, exploring the music, chaos, and contradictions behind one of punk rock’s most outspoken bands. Through firsthand accounts and unseen moments, the film reveals a story that is as reckless and funny as it is personal.
Based on the novel by Glen Matlock, a founding member of the Sex Pistols and co-writer of ten of the twelve iconic songs on their sole studio album, 'NEVER MIND THE BOLLOCKS'. Matlock details the mindset of early 70s Britain and reveals a trove of secrets
Documentary about the Slovenian punk movement (1977–1985): the rebellion of high school bands against the Yugoslav communist regime. As Tito was dying, an explosive counterculture emerged in Ljubljana, which the authorities tried to crush through repression and the infamous “Nazi punk affair”.
A group of youths band together to break out of their hopeless small town. The story is inspired by Rancid and the '90s East Bay punk scene.
Late seventies, Poland. In a backwater town, Ustrzyki Dolne, a few teenagers form a punk rock band under the influence of the Sex Pistols. When Radio Free Europe starts a program for them following their letter, the communist secret service also takes notice of their rebellion. An officer makes it clear to them: Ustrzyki Dolne is not London, there will be no punk here.
Illustrated Hungarian Punk Encyclopedia 1975 - 1990 - Book Release!
Continuing the series of punk-themed books, Trottel Books has expanded its offer with another publication related to Hungarian punk: this time, an encyclopedic work illustrated with pictures and lyrics about the world of Hungarian punk has been published.

The volume collects Hungarian punk and punk-adjacent bands active between 1975 and 1990 in a lexicon-like format, in a bilingual - Hungarian and English - edition. The 448-page book presents nearly 514 bands, publishes about 150 lyrics, and contains approximately 250 photos, about half of which have never appeared in print or online before.

The author of the book is Béla Ács-Tari, with more than fifteen years of research behind the publication. The content was compiled from processing hundreds of personal and online conversations, thousands of newspaper articles, and internet interviews. One of the starting points of the collection work was the author's blog named Karanténzóna, where he began publishing audio materials, pictures, and information about Hungarian bands of the eighties - this work continues to this day with minor interruptions. The basic idea of the encyclopedia was provided by the Illustrated Rock Encyclopedia published in 1987, which was considered a fundamental work at the time, and the Hungarian Oi! & SKA Lexicon edited by Sándor Kaszap also served as inspiration. The recently published volume is a comprehensive, organized imprint of the Hungarian punk scene of the era; and according to the author's plans, further materials accumulated on the subject may receive independent processing in later publications.

The book is currently available at the following locations:
Budapest: Wave, Giháda, Rockdiszkont, Kalóz records
Szeged: Néma Papagáj, Szolnok: Szkítia bookstore
