Teplice, 1989. Once called 'Little Paris,' the spa town is now devastated by industry and suffocating smog during the 'Normalization' era. In this oppressive atmosphere, a unique punk and alternative culture thrives, home to Pavel and Renata. They long for a life of freedom, but the communist regime labels them 'defective youth' and constantly interferes. Tensions culminate in environmental demonstrations that erupt just a week before the Velvet Revolution, quickly turning into political protest. The revolution began in the north: the people wanted to breathe.
