1978. Iceland. No internet, no beer, just an all-consuming disco fever. In the grip of the Cold War, an isolated nation where punk doesn't even exist yet. The Stranglers' concert crashes into this world, changing everything overnight. In the aftermath of the explosion, almost as a joke, the country's first punk band is formed: The Fræbbblar. The joke soon becomes a deadly serious mission: to spread the gospel of punk against the current. Although the revolution eventually eats its own children and glory awaits others, the spark ignited by The Fræbbblar has grown into the raging wildfire that is the Icelandic music scene today.
