Summer of 1984. In the sleepy small town of Schmalenstedt by the Baltic Sea, 17-year-old Malte Ahrens discovers punk rock and rechristens himself Roddy Dangerblood. He spends his days with friends around campfires in the woods, pogoing at the village disco, dreaming of girls, and clashing with the local farm boys. Then, a brilliant idea strikes: they'll start a band. But even though punk music seems simple, sometimes the simplest things can be damn hard.
