Chaostage – We Are Punks! is a 2009 German independent film depicting the legendary 'Days of Chaos' (Chaostage) events of the German punk movement. This semi-fictional, semi-documentary feature shows the conflict between punks, skinheads, and police escalating into a full-blown street riot. The fates of various characters—including the depressive Didi and the vengeful Mitch—intertwine as the film explores the punk lifestyle's thirst for freedom, rebellion, and destructive energy. Icons of the German punk scene, such as Dirk Jora (Slime) and Wally Walldorf (Toxoplasma), make appearances, while the atmosphere is amplified by the music of Alec Empire (Atari Teenage Riot).
