A legend rests in New Hampshire: GG Allin, the most notorious figure in rock 'n' roll history, infamous for fighting, defecating, and having sex with his audience on stage. His 1993 heroin overdose created a myth around him. Award-winning director Sami Saif's film offers an affectionate and entertaining glimpse into the rock star's family. Twenty years after GG's death, his mother Arleta and brother Merle grapple with his memory in their own ways. Arleta wants the gravestone removed, which is constantly vandalized by fans, to preserve the memory of her loving son. Meanwhile, Merle keeps the myth of the destructive rock 'n' roll icon alive by reviving their band, the Murder Junkies, and selling memorabilia. The film follows the family's struggle from a childhood overshadowed by a brutal father to GG's limitless adulthood of drugs and violence, as Arleta and Merle confront their shared past and their own identities.
